Kentville, NS- Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce Announces New Executive Director

President Mark Vardy of The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that after a national search process, Nyla Frank-Rodgers has been selected as our new Executive Director.

AVCC’s president Mark Vardy says “The board recognizes that we need to build a Chamber for the future. One that aligns with the growing needs of our members and the community. We’re confident that Nyla’s leadership and skills will ensure the Chamber is positioned to meet the changing demands of our local businesses.”

Frank-Rodgers has been in the interim leadership role at the Chamber since April. Frank-Rodgers has been a key member of AVCC’s operations team for five years, most recently as the Manager of Operations. She brings an educational background in the business of tourism from Mount Saint Vincent University and Nova Scotia Community College.

“This is a pivotable time for the Chamber and I look forward to being a part of the effort to bring AVCC to the next level by expanding our reach, elevating offerings and broadening our networks. I am honoured for the opportunity to serve the Annapolis Valley and to build the most dynamic region to do business” states Frank-Rodgers.

AVCC covers Kings County and Eastern Annapolis County with over 380 members and their employees.
