Physician Community Navigation

Meet Breanna Sangster, the Annapolis Valley’s Physician Community Navigator. Together, Breanna joins a growing network of navigators across rural Nova Scotia that assists physicians as they prepare to practice in Nova Scotia, and once they arrive. Navigators support medical staff like primary care providers and other allied health professionals, residents and students through events and activities, support customized site visits and help to answer the many questions related to setting up life and practice in rural Nova Scotia. Breanna works to connect healthcare providers to communities of interest, basic services and amenities, in a complementary effort to partners like Nova Scotia Health, and more. She works in collaboration with NSH recruitment consultants to help connect you to recruitment vacancies, and provincial recruitment incentives and support you through the hiring process. She’s here to help navigate any barriers you and/or your family need.
