Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Statement Following the Death of Queen Elizabeth II

Windsor, NS (September 8, 2022) – The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce is saddened to learn of the passing of HRM Queen Elizabeth II.

Throughout her reign as Queen, Her Majesty devoted her life to public service of the Commonwealth. From serving in the British Armed Forces during World War II, to recently celebrating Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, The Queen has remained a constant in the lives of Canadians. Her historical reign has shared some of the most memorable moments in history as she offered leadership in times of uncertainty, compassion in times of hardship, and inspiration to many over her 70 years as Queen.

On behalf of the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce’s board, team and membership, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Her Majesty as we join the Commonwealth in mourning her loss.
