The Stockings Were Hung Project

The Stockings Were Hung Project works to facilitate Christmas stockings for local youth.
The focus of the project is to facilitate the Stockings which are extra to all of the other kinds of donations given to the community.
Donna Conrad and her team at RE/MAX Advantage lead the project, which can only happen due to the kindness and dedication of many volunteers including a rock solid group of mothers and youth volunteers.
On Saturday, December 10 we are encouraging local businesses including retail, grocery stores, and pharmacies to proudly promote the stocking boxes that they are trying to sell. In the stores, you will find many products that can help fill stockings as well as grocery cards which are a lovely addition for families at Christmas. On this Saturday you will find any of the youth leaders visible throughout the community working to fill stocking boxes and encouraging you to purchase grocery cards, pharmacy items, and retail items to fill the Stockings.
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram #thestockingswerehung and notice the many places that you can shop throughout the month of December supporting local businesses and helping fill the stockings were hung boxes.
If you’d like to fill a box at your business location or with your service group community group or family please call 902-679-0700, there is still time to get involved.
