Are you a young professional in the Annapolis Valley?

Join us for our first Valley Social Network event of 2023 – Networking at Maritime Express Cider!

The Valley Social Network is a space for young professionals to meet, collaborate & create. A casual environment to share ideas and skills amongst one another, make an impact and continue to develop our community.

Tuesday, January 31st from 4:30-6:30 PM. We’ll provide some snacks. Drinks will be available for purchase.

Pizza, Puzzle & Pitcher Night!

February 22nd, 6-8 PM, at Boston Pizza, New Minas.

Businesses, get a team together, it’s time for some friendly competition.

Teams of 4, first team to complete their puzzle, and finish a large pizza win prizes and bragging rights.

$20 dollars per teammate for Chamber members.

$25 per teammate for potential members.

*Pizza, puzzle & pitcher included in ticket cost.

Physician Community Navigator News

Great news! We’re happy to announce we have a successful Community Fund application for healthcare recruitment and retention in the Annapolis Valley region!

The funding is from the provincial government’s new Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment (OHPR).

We’re so excited for new program opportunities for healthcare recruitment in the Annapolis Valley with two successful applicants, ourselves and Mid Valley Region Physician Recruitment & Retention.

Women of Excellence 2023

The 3rd Bi-Annual 2023 Women of Excellence Awards is back!

Plans are underway for a gala event unlike the Valley has seen before! To be held at the Atlantic Theatre Festival building at Acadia University on June 9th, Women from across the Annapolis Valley who pursue excellence in their respective fields, and in the community, will be recognized and celebrated.

These are the women who are improving the lives of others through their leadership, volunteerism, entrepreneurial spirit, and mentorship.
