The Canadian Chamber of Commerce commends the Government of Canada for eliminating Canada’s DST.

Our Statement on Latest Tariff Threat from U.S.

On July 10, 2025, President Trump issued a letter of notice to Prime Minister Carney declaring the United States’ intent to impose a 35% tariff on Canadian imports, effective August 1, 2025. The U.S. administration has also warned of further increases should Canada choose to retaliate.

This photo offers a glimpse into the late 1990s, when the very first vineyard crew worked the slopes of the Melanson Vineyard, planting the vines that would help shape the winery’s early years.

The land is different now, the decades have passed, but the same care is evident in every row.

Back then, it was just the beginning. Today, the team continues to build on what has grown, with a clear focus on the next 25 years.
