Women of Excellence Gala Awards Show & Cocktail Hour 2023

June 9, 2023
6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Festival Theatre

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM at the Atlantic Theatre Festival with the Steele Valley Networking Cocktail Hour in the lobby with nibbles, drinks, and entertainment from Dance Express DJ Services and Serpentine Studios Aerial Artists.

Event attendees will be escorted into the theatre for the awards show honouring 67 nominees, awards presentations, and spectacular performances by Serpentine Studios Dancers doing an LED light hypnotic flow show, Cadance Academy Ballet, Tir an nOg Irish Dancers, and the Graham Howe Band.

The Women of Excellence Awards represents both men and women celebrating women’s achievements across the Annapolis Valley region.

Summer 2023 EXECUTREK Program

Do you employ reservists? If so, we invite you to attend a Canadian Forces Liaison Council ExecuTrek held at Detachment Aldershot on Friday 23 June.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit a junior combat leadership course known as the Primary Leadership Qualification course.

An Executrek is a special event designed to introduce business and education-sector leaders to the Reserve Force, demonstrate the value of reserve service, and highlight the skills reservists bring to any employer. Executreks are held at military installations across the country by the Canadian Armed Forces in partnership with Canadian Forces Liaison Council, a network of civilian volunteers who advocate on behalf of reservists.
