Interested in being more involved in your community?
You can choose to join one of our four committees;
Our committees are very actively involved in growing the success for business in the Annapolis Valley. Our Professional Development committee is well known for its educational lunches & workshops that provide useful information and skills needed to improve work performance. This committee has continued to give back to the business community and is offering much more in 2017.
The Advocacy committee takes the time to listen and take action for our members and communities members. They appreciated every individuals input and work towards the greater good for the Annapolis Valley. This committee is passionate about your concerns on topics such as economic opportunities, business growth, and future valley projects. Together they stand for The VOICE for business.
Promoting the Annapolis Valley is very important when trying to bring new visitors to our area, and the Tourism Committee is one to do just that! This committee has recently created a marketing project for promoting the beauty, opportunities, and thriving businesses of the Annapolis Valley. They also provide businesses a chance to promote their products and services during events such as the Saltscapes Expo.
Our Agriculture and Agri-Foods Committee has planted its seed in the heart of AVCC! They continue to grow awareness of the importance of agriculture in the valley and the interesting new innovations that can inspire others, or better yet, help others in the agriculture industry. We look forward to watching this seed grow and have many more agriculture based individuals get more involved with this committee and what it has to offer!
